REFLECTION
So much of life seems to ask you to prove yourself. Do more, be more, fix this, improve that. It’s easy to start believing your worth depends on how much you accomplish or how others see you.
But your value was never up for negotiation. You were enough before you did a single impressive thing, and you’ll still be enough on the days you barely get through. You belong right where you are, not after you’ve changed, but now.
That doesn’t mean you stop growing. It means you grow from a place of worth rather than toward it. So today, notice your small wins: the dishes done, the kind word spoken, the boundary held. They count. And so do you, with or without them.
Mantras
Short enough to remember. Repeat one whenever you need it.
I am enough.
I belong here.
My worth isn’t earned.
Small wins count.
Affirmations
Say them out loud, slowly. Let each one settle before moving on.
I am worthy of love and respect exactly as I am.
I don’t have to prove my value to anyone.
I belong in every room I walk into.
I am proud of the small wins in my day.
I speak to myself with kindness.
My worth doesn’t rise or fall with other people’s opinions.
I exist as I am, that is enough.
Walt Whitman, Song of Myself
TO CARRY WITH YOU
You don’t have to earn your place today. You already have it.
