Love comes in many forms. The kind we give: a meal made for someone, a listening ear, a patient answer. The kind we receive: a hug at the end of a long day, a friend who remembers, a stranger’s kindness. And the kind that holds us before we do anything at all: the love of God, steady and unearned.
Sometimes the hardest love to accept is our own. We can be generous with everyone else and stingy with ourselves. But love that’s poured out needs to be refilled, and you’re allowed to be on the receiving end too.
Today, notice the love around you, even in its smallest forms. Offer it freely. Let it in when it comes your way. And remember that you are loved deeply, on your best days and on your hardest ones.
