REFLECTION
Worry is good at pretending to be useful. It replays the conversation, rehearses the worst case, and stays up late solving problems that haven’t happened yet. But it rarely changes the outcome. It mostly changes how much of today we get to enjoy.
Faith offers a different way. It doesn’t promise that everything will go the way you want. It promises that you won’t face it alone, and that tomorrow is already held in hands steadier than yours.
Choosing faith over worry isn’t a one-time decision. It’s a small choice you make again and again, sometimes many times in a single afternoon. Each time a fear rises, you can set it down and say, I don’t have to hold this one. That’s what faith looks like on an ordinary day.
Mantras
Short enough to remember. Repeat one whenever you need it.
Faith over fear.
Tomorrow is held.
I set this worry down.
I don’t have to know to trust.
Affirmations
Say them out loud, slowly. Let each one settle before moving on.
I choose faith even when I can’t see the outcome.
My worries don’t get the final word.
I am cared for today and tomorrow.
I can let go of what I can’t control and still be at peace.
Each time I choose trust, my faith grows a little stronger.
I don’t need every answer to keep believing.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)
TO CARRY WITH YOU
