REFLECTION
We tend to picture courage as fearless: shoulders back, no hesitation. But most real courage looks quieter than that. It’s the shaky phone call, the hard conversation, the first day in a new place. It’s taking the next step while your heart is still pounding.
Fear doesn’t mean you’re on the wrong path. Often it just means the path matters to you.
You don’t need to feel brave before you begin. You only need enough courage for the next step, not the whole staircase. Take that one, then the next. Along the way, you may notice that bravery wasn’t a feeling you had to wait for. It showed up the moment you moved.

Say them out loud, slowly. Let each one settle before moving on.
